Vitamins for the Heart: The Gospel in Simple Words gathers in book form the texts of the cards distributed by Movement Without a Name - messages aimed at bringing out "the best that is alive in people, in all the sons and daughters of God, whether they know it or not."

Movement Without a Name is "action-oriented, trying to humanize the world we live in, so as to make it a hospitable community where there is place for everyone and where we accept, love, inspire one another, and appeal to everyone." The movement's headquarters are in Antwerp, Belgium. Its cards are available in Dutch, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, German, and English (see Introduction).

To love people:
that is
to give people your smile,
your friendly face:
-in days of joy
your hand and your heart,
-in days of need
your support and your consolation.

I believe in the goodness of people,
just as I believe in new life
when I see flowers bud and bloom
as soon as it rains on a dry earth.
YES, ONE GOOD PERSON
IS WORTH TEN PEOPLE.
